[ well, if daisy is with strange, she's in better hands (metaphorically...) than his own. part of his tension dissipates. part. the idea that daisy was reckless doesn't necessarily surprise him (though he'll reserve judgment until he speaks with her himself), but it does frighten him.

she made it clear she was willing to leave them here, to disappear and ignore his calls as she's done with the whole of the team before. however, being taken from them is different — final. it's yet another thing to worry about.

he thought they were stronger than this. no, you're weak. worry knots his stomach, threatening to distract him from important work. . ]

She's lucky to be alive.

How'd you find the soldiers?

[ illya tries to restrain himself. he really does try but he can't stop what he types. ]

Daisy got it into her head that she could take them all on herself despite me asking her to not leave. She left anyway.

he'll be sure to pass it on to bobbi, during their hellish debrief. can't be sure how he feels about it, at present, with his head in disarray. ]

Yes.

[ and once or twice, he'd done something a little risky but he hadn't gone out into a group of soldiers. he could say that. ]

No one hospitalised. Some serious injuries sustained, but our powers saved us from the worst of it.
I've researched them. They're known for their lifetime consignment. And feared by all.

I would expect no less from a place like this. I watched them almost kill someone and they are not the most dangerous entity out there. It is not even surprising.

Have you been able to access your new abilities yet?

[kgbs]

Yes. I was able to acquire some help with training and used them a few times to both break open doors and incapacitate soldiers when I could not get to a weapon. It is still strange to have them but the training and the fighting rings are helping with control.

Is it a type of enhanced strength?

[kgbs]

Yes. It is mostly for physical blows. I get angry and I can put holes in walls or the ground or whatever is in front of me.

Can I ask if the anger was something you dealt with before coming here?

My partner got pulled through a portal in spacetime before our first date.
I re-opened it and dove through to go get her.
